It saves space on the paper for more numbers.”

- Fortune July 2008, On Ballmer’s way of dealing with data. No wonder why I just can’t use their software.

Dear RedBull, can I rent an office in your HQ ?

Dear RedBull, can I rent an office in your HQ ?

Thx Albertine !

Thx Albertine !

So simple & so good

Do you like good meat ?

Without any further information I’m being drag by my girlfriend to l’entrecôte.

Now I’m intrigued, half an hour to get a table. It may be usual for a new Hype&Trendy parisian hotspot, but this restaurant is older than me !

When we finally got our table, no menu ! The waitress simply asks

How do you want it ?

That’s it. You just choose how you want your meat to be cooked. No today’s special, no fish or meat, there is only one meal :

beef

french fries

the secret sauce (and what a secret sauce !)

It’s amazing, they do not try to satisfy everyone, they do not have a nice and cosy interior.. The focus is on the food, and success is here since nearly a century !

Napaholic.

Napaholic.

No need for a dual screen...

Do you feel that pain in your neck ? Right on the same side as your second screen ?

Now what’s on that screen :

iChat

VLC

a PDF opened three days ago that you haven’t start to read

…

I know the digital legend tells that you work 33.3333% faster with a second screen but I’ve just removed my second screen a week ago and I feel so focused ! It’s really great.

Just try, you may be surprised by the result !

Photo

Say Hi to Highrise !

I’ve been seduced by Highrise last week. The freelance pricing plan just winked at me…

It’s a bit tricky to “track my communications”, I mean, communication is like my main activity.

But let’s be pragmatic, it’s friday 8pm, my phone stopped ringing, my inbox is empty. I think it’s quite a success considering my workload at the moment !

But there is something better, a killer feature… it’s not the nice CRM/GTD concept, it’s not the fact that my week end is safe…

See, my Highrise dropbox is under the name “Highrise” (yes, I know, I’m a really creative mind). And every time I forward or bcc an email to my highrise…. I just say hi ! Mail completes the rest…

"A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is..."

“A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”

- Saint-Exupéry

It's an iLife after all

It’s funny how one thing leading to another I’ve found myself with

an iMac

an MacbookAir

an iPhone

a .Mac account

I’m surely a fanboy, but it feels so comfy ! Everything is synced up, everything has a shiny aluminum case, everything just fits me…

But tonight, I’m kinda scared…
I was working with my fellow freelance Fabien, his Apple TV was showing pictures : a ski trip, a trip to Vienna…

boom !

Suddenly it was clear, these pictures look like Apple commercials !

I think I’m just living the iLife.
